Contribution export missing rows

Hi all,

CiviCRM Version 2.2.8

Summary:
When doing a Contribution export, only one row is displayed in the CSV file for each unique Contact that had a Contribution in the list to be exported, even if multiple Contributions by the same Contact were selected for export.

Scenario:
I'm working with a client who has an Organization in the system which they have entered multiple Contributes for, all having the same receive date, but the amounts on each are different.
When viewing the Contributions tab for that Organization, I can view or edit each entry successfully.
Checking in the database, I see all of the appropriate rows and they all look properly formatted.

When I navigate to Find Contributions and attempt to export multiple Contributions made by the Organization in question, the resulting CSV file only displays a single Contribution record.

I also tested exporting multiple Contributions from this Organization, making sure to select just 3 or 4, but all having different dates (in case it was some sort of grouping issue), with no luck.

Also tested exporting several Contributions for this Organization along with a handful of Contributions from other donors, both Individual and Organizations. The resulting CSV file had a single row for each unique Contact, but if I had selected multiple Contributions from any given Contact, all but one row was dropped for those Contacts.

After the above test I realized that the issue was not specific to this one Organization, but instead it was affecting what appeared to be all Contacts, whether it be Individual or Organization, who I was attempting to export multiple Contribution rows for; and the date bit was irrelevant.

According to the client, this was not an issue as of last week.

As far as I'm aware nobody has been monkeying around with any of the core CiviCRM files recently.

I still have some other stuff I can think to try (albeit far fetched), but I wanted to get my feelers out here as quickly as possible.

If anyone has any insight, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Jordan

can you check and see if this is an issue on the demo machine. this might help us narrow it down to affecting all of CiviCRM or just some specific sites

Hi Donald,

I could not reproduce this on the demo site, this is specific to my client's installation. I'm just looking for ideas.

Thanks,
Jordan

i'd check the query log and see what query is being issued for the export on your clients server. if on drupal, you can use the devel module and enable query logging
