Display online registration deadline?

is it possible to display the online registration deadline information on a civievent?  I presume that right now, when the deadline date passes, the "rsvp link" becomes inactive and a message indicates that the deadline has passed.  I would like to show the user the deadline on the civievent information page.

you can do this by impelementing the pageRun hook on EventInfo and customizing the template
