reCAPTCHA weirdness in IE7
January 29, 2010, 02:26:17 pm
I'm not sure the issue I'm seeing has anything to do with CiviCRM. It looks like it's either IE7 or reCAPTCHA, so I'm posting here in the hopes that someone has seen this before and can give me some guidance.

I have a link from site1.com to the mailing list subscription page on site2.com The URL is something like subdomain1.site2.com/civicrm/mailing/subscribe?reset=1&gid=2. In Firefox and Chrome, clicking the link takes you to the subscription page and everything (including reCAPTCHA) works as normal. In IE7, I get the error "This reCAPTCHA key isn't authorized for the given domain." But the key is definitely authorized for the domain. If I refresh the page, the reCAPTCHA error goes away. If I navigate away from the page and press the Back button, it works. If I start out on site1.com and simply type in the full URL to the subscription page on site2.com, it works. It's only if I click the link from site1.com that I get the error.

Any ideas why this might be happening or what I can do to fix it?
