Hi,

We had a user cancel their registration for an event. The stated policy is to charge a $25.00 Cancellation fee to the person canceling their event registration.

I have canceled the Participant by going into and changing the record from Registered to Canceled.
I have logged into paypal and issued the refund to the user, less the 25.00 cancellation fee.

I would like to keep my records straight for account reconciliation, but if I go into the Payment Record for the credit card transaction and change from Completed to Canceled, there is now way to show that there was a 25.00 cancellation fee.

How would I go about doing this? I read somewhere else that paypal should have updated the record, but  I don't see how that's possible.
