I am running 1 Drupal codebase. It is supporting multiple separate and distinct sites with separate databases.

Is it possible to do the same thing with CiviCRM? Have one codebase with separate sites, separate database, and NOT sharing any data?

Where do I find documentation on instructions on doing this?

Hmm, it seems like the answer is really simple. Yes. It does. All I needed to know was that CiviCRM calls it multi-site not multiple sites. So there you are.
