googleNotify script is giving an access denied error after Event payment
February 04, 2010, 12:26:08 pm
We're using Civi v3.0.1 and have set up Google Checkout as our payment processor.  We've created a paid online public event, and we can see that participants are able to pay without an error and they do get registered, but then we see from the drupal \ log report, that the googleNotify.php script is failing with an access denied error.
We set up anonymous users with permissions to register for events.  There was another post about possibly also setting up anonymous users with permission to access CiviEvent - is this what we should do?
Are we missing something else in the setup?  any thoughts as to how to remedy this?

After IRC'ing with Lobo - he suggested that we use the correct link to access googleNotify.php.  We first tested the link from the browser using the following path:
https://<domain site name>/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/googleNotify.php.   I then get the msg:" Failure: Could not find eventID"  which is what we needed to see.   So from here, all we had to do was update the google checkout configuration screen with this correct link and it worked like a charm - participants' status' where then updated from "pending from incomplete transaction" to "registered".
