[SOLVED] fatal error after succesful database upgrade from 3.0.0 to 3.1.1
February 06, 2010, 11:28:42 am
For anyone else who encounters this problem:

After upgrading CiviCRM from 3.0.0 to 3.1.1 I was getting the following error message

Fatal error: CRM_Core_Invoke::require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'CRM/Contact/Page/View/DashBoard.php' (include_path='.:/home/bnbftp/crmupgrade.bikesnotbombs.org/civicrm:/home/bnbftp/crmupgrade.bikesnotbombs.org/civicrm/packages:.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/.remington/bnbftp/crmupgrade.bikesnotbombs.org/civicrm-3.1.1-drupal/CRM/Core/Invoke.php on line 187

I was able to run the database upgrade script successfully (no error messages), but after that, when I visited any civicrm page I got the above error on a page that had no style or other content

I tried deleting my files/civicrm/template_c directory as this post recommended, but I still had the problem
http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,11904.0.html

THEN I FIXED IT BY GOING TO THIS URL!

me too!  not sure about the database integrity, but that cleaned up the failed upgrade.
