Is there a way to find contributors?
February 07, 2010, 05:58:07 pm
I want to delete 1400 or so records in our system with nothing more than first and last name. It's useless data.

Is there a way to find out which of these people have made donations?

I can't seem to find a custom search or a way to do it.

thanks for any help

seems like fairly specific to your use case. u'll need to write your own custom search for this one

Bummer, thanks.

Is there a storehouse somewhere of contributed searches? There are tumbleweeds here:

http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Community+Contributed+Custom+Searches

The one link is a 404.

cheers

any reason putting the 1400 in to a group and then searching in that group for Contributions > $0 doesn't do what you need.

How do I search in that group for contributions > $0?

Advanced Search doesn't have the option for 'greater than' searches, just between amounts. Find Contributions doesn't allow you to select a group.

I know it's probably obvious but I can't work it out.

EDITED: Duh I put a huge amount in the 'to' field.

Thanks Pete
