Hey all - we're having some permission issues and I've emailed Dave G and folks -  I've asked that when people become members of the group that they have permission to create a discussion.   Peter and I have permission to delete anything if we see something inappropriate - but otherwise, we'd like to keep the discussions public.

right?

Woo hoo!  Awesome to have our own group.  Let's see how far we can take it.

Also, let's remember that a group is primarily about having an offline way to organize "real" "live" events.  Otherwise it might as well just be a forum.  So let's all think about how having a group can help us build the local community!

Hey Alice,

I see we now have a "Meetup" content type - cool.

However when I go to create a meetup I don't see fields for putting in organizer, etc.  I only see Title and Body field.

It looks like there are other fields I'm not seeing.  Is there a permission error with those fields?
