Problems translating the menu
February 10, 2010, 06:19:28 am
I can't seem to get the menu translated...
I translated everything offline and then compiled it and uploaded to my civi dir. Everything looks good except the navigation menu. None of the menu items are translated.

I checked the civicrm.po before compiling and the strings are translated there.

There is a similar issue (closed) in the tracker too: CRM-5456

It seems that the problem solved itself. I didn't do anything but now it's fixed.

Probably something to do with caching.

Yes, we cache the whole menu on a per-language basis. In the future, you can try switching languages back and forth to refresh the cache.
If you found the above helpful, please consider helping us in return – you can even steer CiviCRM’s future and help us extend CiviCRM in ways useful to you.
