Custom fields not accessible in views for CiviEvent
February 10, 2010, 07:29:47 am
Hi there.
I'm using the most current versions o Civicrm, Drupal, and Views 6-2.8. I have a series of events - modules in a training program, that I want to group in cohorts, that is, modules 1 - 5 in cohort AA, then a repeat of this in cohort BB, etc.

I set up custom fields for the event that originally worked fine in doing a sort prior to the last round of upgrades, it seems, but am now no longer able to access those fields in views. I've tried flushing caches throughout the site, other fixes for similar problems described here, also created a new set of fields for this. Also confirmed that the appropriate data tables exist, contain data, and are referenced in settings.php. Still no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated - it's a test site - no rush.

Thanks
Chris

seems like there is a problem with custom fields and views in 3.1.x

the person who normally maintains and updates that code is a bit busy with a consulting gig.if this is important to you, please consider hiring someone to take a look at it
