No CSS loading in Internet Explorer (Drupal 6.15)
February 11, 2010, 08:05:17 am
Hey, I get this strange problem when I open civicrm in the Internet Explorer and only in the Internet Explorer. Neither Opera, Safari, Firefox or Chrome have this problem.
Seems like the full CSS is not loading for IE - would anyone have an idea what's happening in the background? I already used fiddler to see, whether some files are not available, but looks like the respective files are not even requested. Fiddler reports no issue - looks all fine. I got this problem on Vista and on XP.
I created an online accessible form, where this problem also exists. See here: http://www.un-spider.org/civicrm/event/register?id=11&reset=1
Don't have a clue, what it could be again  ???

Found the solution here: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,11690.msg50789.html#msg50789
Internet Explorer has problems when loading too many css-files. So activate optimization of css, and it will run.
Hopefully this helps others.

No CSS loading on Donation forms CiviCRM 3.1.2 in IE 7 on Joomla 1.5.15 I did the upgrade and the donation amounts and profile are not showing in a donation form. I am looking into Joomla extension for compressions. Tried Webo and it' caching and compression did not work to resolve this.

CssJsCompress I am now testing hoping for positive results. I really don't want to recode and combine CSS manually to resolve this. It method of combing CSS does not prevent this problem with IE7 and the donation forms in CiviCRM 3.1.2
