Invalid value for field(s) : Birth-Date
February 12, 2010, 09:29:02 am
Trying to import contacts and i continually get this error

Invalid value for field(s) : Birth-Date

I've checked my date format in civicrm mm/dd/yyyy

and it is the same in my .csv

Don't know what else to check but all of my imports are failing because of it.

civicrm 3.1
drupal 6.x

Thank you

Phil

Phil,

Can you try to replicate this on http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org. Also can you post your sample csv here.

I've attached a file with the first record. I tested this on my install and it fails.
I'm headed on over to the test server to try and will report back

oops, I see on my test file I uploaded it is mm/dd/yy

However the real file uses mm/dd/yyyy

attached is another test with mm/dd/yyyy which does fail on the demo server

Sheesh, I'm sorry.
I missed the very obvious date selection box on the import form
You guys just made it to easy and I was looking for something harder like checking the date settings in global settings.

Sorry for taking your time. I'll try to get more sleep before asking questions in the future.

Thanks though. the fast response is impressive.

Phil
