Upgrading should be faster and streamlined

I wish we would get upgrading (at least for minor versions such as going from 3.1.1 to 3.1.2) easier and faster. No reason why we cannot get to a one click upgrade?
right now, the process is quite long, cumbersome.
Can it be supported and integrated with Plugin Manager, for Drupal, for example.
At the end, if it is easier, more people will upgrade and support and maintenance of many old versions can be curtailed.

Check http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Drupal+CiviCRM+upgrade+script+based+on+drush
if you're on Drupal and have used drush before.  It's pretty rough but it has already made it easier for me to upgrade :)
