Hi --

The Find and Merge Duplicates in 3.1 is extremely powerful.

The problem is that now that we've been doing it a while, there are a long list of flagged duplicates who we've looked at using our fuzzy rules and determined that they are NOT actually duplicates (e.g. Different "John Smith"s who live in different parts of the state). But they keep coming up every time we do a new search, making it hard to find the new potential duplicates that might actually be duplicates.

Is there any easy way to mark two contacts as definitively NOT duplicates so they don't keep coming up on the Find and Merge Duplicates results screens?

this has come up a couple of times and would make a great community contribution / sponsorship. There are a few things that we can and should improve in the find/merge functionality. I suspect this will take between 30-50 hours
