CiviEvent Map Location - simple suggestion

CiviCRM is an amazing system - well done everyone.

One minor thing I spotted - integration with google maps could easily add a useful feature. Instead of the lat lng allow the user to submit a URL to a google maps page, for example:

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=troubadour+old+brompton&sll=54.162434,-3.647461&sspn=21.169811,31.728516&cid=51488640,-191952,13660748045774876991&li=lmd&ie=UTF8&ll=51.494049,-0.185051&spn=0.033506,0.048923&z=14&iwloc=A&om=1

This links to an actual venue, shows their details, picture etc. Must more informative. Not sure how that links in with the API, but a link to a separate google maps window is fine IMHO.

CiviCRM does provide integration with several Mapping Providers including Google and Yahoo. The functionality allows mapping of contact addresses as well as Event locations. Some examples on the demo:

An Event with "Include Map Link" checked in the Event Information and Settings screen...
http://demo.civicrm.org/drupal/civicrm/event/info?reset=1&id=3
(adds a  "Map this Location" link under the Location address)

A contact address ("Map this Address" link):
http://demo.civicrm.org/drupal/civicrm/contact/view?reset=1&cid=108

However, if you want to link to a specific business/org entity as in your example, you could include that link in the Event Description (which accepts simple HTML tags). I've added this to event above as well  - "Detailed Map and Photo of this Location".
