the error is : "Could not find valid Key" or "Could not find valid value for gid"

You might want to search this forum for instances of those error msgs to see what might apply to your situation.

Thank you for your suggestion. Yes I searched, I verified that there is  anonymous data in drupal user table.

Recently I move my drupal site from a directory to another one. And installed civicrm 3.1.1. from scratch there. I wonder if there is something wrong with the path within drupal.

Possible cause - incorrect CIVICRM_UF_BASEURL in your civicrm.settings.php file  - so losing session. Also I think inconsistent use of URLs can cause problems like this:

http://mysite.org
http://www.mysite.org

I'm desperate. I re-installed all from scratch: drupal 6.15, civicrm 3.1.1., with sample data.

2 databases : one for drupal, one for civicrm.

did all what is described in
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Drupal+Installation+Guide
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Drupal+installation+and+configuration+example

made no change (no new data created).

tried to open a sample profile and...... cancel button does'nt work. -> "Could not find valid value for gid"

Are you sure there isn'nt any bug with drupal 6.15/civicrm 3.1.1 ?/ french ?

Thanks for your help, I don't want to go in production with such weird behaviour

Thank you,

By truying to answer your question, I've found something : I've set the site in english to show you the example, and there isn't any error left !

Then, I turned it to french, and ........ the error is there !

Hurrah, this is a fist victory !

An idea how to get it work fine for poor french ? should I post this on civicrm issue tracker ?

error when clicking on cancel button (wherever it is)

in profile form, on click on cancel button,

I get the error "Could not find valid value for gid",
and the url is "drupal/civicrm/profile?reset=1" (with no gid number)

I reproduced it on demo (with french localization) and created an issue
