Change Installation Directory - Don't want to use /civicrm, How?
February 16, 2010, 01:18:08 pm
I am looking to install civicrm standalone in an alternative directory rather than http://www.mydomain.com/civicrm - I want it to be installed to http://www.mydomain.com/register.

Is this possible? How do I do it?

I tried just renaming the directory and installing it but it didn't work. Any thoughts?

You should follow these instructions: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Moving+an+Existing+Installation+to+a+New+Server+or+Location
