I am in an organisation record and want to add a new employee realtionship. I was hoping I could click the new relationship button and have a new, partly filled record created with the basic contact info like phone number and web address and org name autfilled. I could then just fill in the contact specific info.

Is there any way of doing it this way. Any pointers?

I had to come out of organisation, create an individual record (entering in all the duplicate info by hand) and then create the relationship. Seems a very long winded way of doing it.

I always create the individual first, then you can select (or add) the organization in the Current Employer field there. The relationship is then set automatically, and you can later add data to the Employer.
