DB password question
February 21, 2010, 09:05:19 am
I have a basic qustion. I'm running the Civicrm install. I put in the password for the Drupal DB and that worked. But the userid/password for the Civicrm DB did not work, according to the install. The CiviCRM DB password field was already populated with something but I don't know where that came from.

Am I supposed to put in the same id/password for the CiviCRM DB as the Drupal DB or what should I put in there? Thanks.

If you have created separate DB for civicrm, you need to use id/password for that db. But if you have civicrm in same db as drupal you should put id/password same as drupal DB.

I would recommend you should have separate database for CiviCRM.
