I have some questions concerning CiviCRM functionality

The main part of what I need is paypal recurrant payments that interact with drupal forums. So a general list of requirements would be:

-Recurrant payments handled without the member needing to specifically agree each time
-Reminders to be sent to the member at intervals that we can change
-Integration with the drupal standard forum (I am kinda new to drupal so please tell me if I get the terminology wrong)
-Reports on the paypal payments (paypal transaction number, date )
-Ability to add in a manual check payment by a member

I think if I could cover this list with CiviCRM I would be hugely pleased and would be able to move forward.

Recurring payments is available for Contribution. I think for membership renewal you will have to do it manually or user can do it when reminder email is sent.

- Yes you can sent customized emails. specific to membership type.

- There is no direct integration of CiviCRM with forum.

- Yes, you can generate report using CiviReport component in CiviCRM

Yes, you can also do this
