No message, No installation
February 24, 2010, 09:04:18 am
I had to move my sugar 1.5 installation to a new server.
CiviCRM did not worked any more (menu displayed, but blank page).
So I manually cleaned it (uninstall does not work fine with tables): dropped all civicrm tables, deleted all files and dirs.
Now I try to install a fresh civicrm-2.1.1-joomla.
No messages from the installer; no menu.
MSWXP SP3, Apache 2.2, PHP 5.2, MySQL Server 5.1
Thank you for help.

why v2.1?
blank screen/no response after installation usually means you're timing out.
check your memory_limit and max_execution_time settings in php

Right why v2.1, you should install current stable release of CiviCRM ( v3.1.2 ) from http://sourceforge.net/projects/civicrm/files/
