Migrate content from 2.0 to 3.1
February 24, 2010, 04:34:07 pm
Hi - total noob here.  I have a non-profit that I'm helping out and they are running civi 2.0 right now.  They get an error when the mod is installed under drupal 5.x (old, I know).  So I figured I'd move them to Drupal 6 and upgrade to civi 3.1 at the same time.  My question is, will the data be importable from 2.0 to 3.1 or will I need to jump through hoops?

Thanks!

If you correctly follow upgrade instructions for CiviCRM, data will be automatically migrated/fix to work with v3.1.

Before starting upgrade make sure you make database backup for CiviCRM and also Drupal.
