Keeping track of paid memberships

I would like to know if anyone has, or is willing to build out a "civiFunds" type of mod.  One that offers all the features of a program like DonorQuest or its like.  I am happy to pay for quality.

Henem:

Would be great if you could spec this out in much greater detail (features, requirements etc). I suspect most people on this forum are not aware of all the features of DonorQuest.

I started benchmarking CiviCRM against some of the leading commercial donor management solutions on the wiki here:
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRM/Using+CiviCRM+as+a+Donor+Database. Still a lot more work needs to be done.

Honestly, I think the best executed donor management user experience is Giftworks from Mission Research. It is something we should seek to match.

CivicSpace (http://www.civicspacelabs.org/) is very interested in working on this type of functionality and we think it would be a great way to improve the ease of use of CiviCRM.
