Contribution page configuration - I agree option

I would like to add terms to the contribution page (being used as a membership application), and the option to "I agree" or "I do not agree".
If they do not agree, then they do not get submitted/processed. i.e. they must agree for the membership to be processed.
Does anyone have any recommendations on the best way to do this?

why not just do an 'i agree' checkbox that is required?
