Registration fields not showing in IE 8

Hello,
I have CiviCRM 1.5 with Joomla 1.5.15 and have created my site template with Artisteer. The registration page is perfect in Chrome but the fields are all missing in IE 8. Is there a fix for this in my CSS? I'm new to CiviCRM and really appreciate your help.

Are you on CiviCRM v1.5? If yes why? You should upgrade to latest v3.1.x

can you see if you get the same problem on the demo server. You might also want to upgrade your version to 3.1.3

Thank you! I didn't realize I had an older version. I have upgraded and it has fixed the issue. :D
