I tried editing a smart group that was created through Search builder.  (Using 3.03).  I went to manage groups, found the group, clicked on settings, then Edit Smart Group Criteria, it seemed to do a search for all contacts in the system; if I click on the view members link then the correct seacrh runs and there is a link to edit the smart group.  When I click on the link,the search builder page displays, but when I click on "another search field" or add "also include contacts where", the search runs again and doesn't allow an edit.  There are a few other odd behaviors, which I can document if helpful.

I tried this in 3.1 (demo) and it appears that the edit search field is not clickable when viewing the smart group members.

Can a smart group be edited built through Search Builder?

if a smart group was built through search builder, it should be editable via search builder. If this is not possible, can you reproduce the steps on demo and let us know, and we'll check it out

1. click on members for that group

2. click on edit smart group search criteria

3. click on edit search criteria and add another constraint

hey paul:

the UI is awful on that search results page. click on the small black arrow in front of "Edit Search Criteria"

that needs to be fixed, IMO
