Images from a custom field in a message template
March 11, 2010, 02:50:04 pm
Hi,

I have a custom field which is an uploaded image file.
If there any way at all to have this in a message template to print as a pdf letter?

I've tried a few things to figure it out, such as using the image url in the html of the message template - the image will show in the message creator, but becomes a broken image in the pdf....and this is only the first half of the battle :/

Any help, or a nudge in the direction of the right resources would be fantastic.

Thankyou,
Michaela

your best bet might be to ask this in the dompdf forums. We use this open source package to generate pdf's

we are not familiar with that code nor with pdf's in general. So please do update us as you make progress in your battle
