Repeating Events for stand alone?
March 12, 2010, 10:36:49 pm
I did some googling and came across a "fix" for repeating events in the drupal installation, but not for stand alone. I really REALLY need this feature, otherwise the whole thing can become quite useless since we are using this for classes that will be the same every week. It would take a month to insert each class for every day.

Any points in the right direction??

Currently CiviCRM does not support creation of repeating events.
So for now you have 2 options
1. Create Event Template and then use it create repeating events.
2. Use copy event feature and just modify dates.

a few other things:

1. you can help develop this and get it added to core :) This might be useful: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php?topic=3329.0

2. also note that standalone is being phased out, so might be better off switching to drupal or joomla
