Translator's identity

Hi,

does Pootle keep some information about translators? Is there any possibility to find the author of some translated string? And furthermore, does Pootle track history of changes (like SVN)?

Thanks,
Caesh

The answer to the above is ‘it depends’. PO files have the unfortunate idea of storing only the last translator, so if I commit often enough (I tend to do it weekly on Mondays, but had to skip last Monday) then this kind-of reflects the contributions (in the Subversion repository).

Do you have anything in particular in mind? (If it’s sensitive, you can reach me at shot@civicrm.org).
If you found the above helpful, please consider helping us in return – you can even steer CiviCRM’s future and help us extend CiviCRM in ways useful to you.

Ok, thanks. I was just curious how many translators work on the project on average.
