Installation from Joomla Package File

Hello,

    I'm a newbie of CiviCRM, I was downloaded the civicrm-1.8.11536-joomla-php4.zip and tried to install it
from Joomla Package File, after that it reture to ~/administrator/index2.php that display not found screen,
so how can I use package file to install CiviCRM?

did you follow the instructions at http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Install+CiviCRM+for+Joomla+or+Mambo

In cases where you get a failed install this may be due to the size of the zip file being uploaded. I favour the second method of ftp'ing the tarball to the /public_html/administrator/components/com_installer/component/ directory. Uncompress it and do an install from directory. This is described on the wiki.

If this doesn't work then you'll need to provide more info. Like what versions are you using, memory limits etc.
