Registering multiple event participants with Pay Pal Express

I am setting up a paid event registration that allows for multiple participants. The payment processor is Pay Pal Express.

After the person enters the info for the 1st person, they click on the Pay Pal button, login in Pay Pal, ( but no amount is shown ) , then they are taken to the page for the 2nd person attending the event.   Seems somewhat awkward.   Am I doing something wrong?

This is CiviCRM 3.1.3 running under Joomla 1.5.15

I think you'll find the amount is on the confirmation page, when all the particiapnts are entered, all options have been selected, and CiviCRM can calculate a price.
