Profiles for search results on joomla front end
March 23, 2010, 07:15:26 am
This is probably a real newbie thing but...

I need a really simple search function that any internet user can use to find a florist by area / postcode and display a list of results.. simple huh?
So, I have uploaded my database, created a profile to display the data I want, tested it through the backend (it works).. but when I link it to the front end it can't find any data.

I'm certain I have missed a step / am doing something stupid.. help!

this is the url if it helps....

OK, I managed to sort this - for anybody trying this, it doesn't work if your imported data is set to 'organisation' only 'individual' - doesn't make much difference to me, but might to some..

anyhoo, now to try and make it look pretty - any advice on that welcome!  ;D
