Inbound Email Edit/Schedule Follow-up
March 23, 2010, 08:47:40 am
For inbound emails, you can edit the activity and schedule a follow-up; however, you cannot schedule a follow-up type of email.  As well, when you edit the email (basically to enter the reply) and save can the email be sent back to the contact?

For inbound email activity type, is there a reply to that creates and outbound email with the content of the inbound email?  You can achieve this by copying the content of the message, save, then from the summary for th contact complete a new email and paste the content.

You can edit an inbound email, but when you save the email it does not send an email or record a seperate activity in the activities list.

Also, you can schedule to follow-up with a phone call, meeting.  But you cant' scheudle a follow-up email for in the future.

Is anyone else attempting to use the CiviMail component to handle this process?

Thanks
