Custom integer field fails in 'search in range' or Export
March 25, 2010, 10:56:58 am
This may also affect Contributions. On Demo I created Custom Data for Memberships, type = INteger, Searchable = YES and Search by Range.
Add info to two records - one is 4, one is 8 - use Find Members, enter range of 2 to 6, run search - result is 30 records ie every record in the DB.
I also tested for data for an Individual and it works fine.
Shall I add an issue?

Hmm - Related to above - and possibly for same reason hence same post - when I try to export the data it adds a column, which is called 'custom_4' rather than using the Label, and returns no data.

yes, please add an issue. ideally if you can also attach a patch that would be great and ensure it makes it into 3.2

I noticed this was slated for a fix in v3.4. I'm not intimately familiar with CiviCRM's code, but I have a decent amount of experience with PHP. If someone can point me to the code responsible for generating the search results, I'd be happy to take a look to see if I can generate a patch to fix this.
