I am trying to import some data into CiviCRM, but can't find the import function. According to the main civiCRM website the import function should be found on the main menu...
Even though I am the administrator with all rights, I have the feeling that the problem might be related to permissions, or some basic settings.

I would be very grateful if somebody could help me, as it is very urgent!

If you are wanting to import Contacts, then yes you should find an option from the Admin Menu under Contacts.

Hello sarahmarie,

You should be able to find the import section under the Contacts, Events and Memberships tabs in the Navigation bar.
