Hey,

Did not know just where to post this ...

First, the link from http://civicrm.org/node/164 goes to a devel site and seems to deny access

I got a tip from Michal who steered me to http://demo.civicrm.org and things were looking up. I was able to log in as demo/demo and get to the CRM -but the Event related links there also got me into the Access Deined state

My goal was to create a relevant event or two and grab some screen shots for a presentation. I have access to a 1.7 platform so I expect I will be able to create my model events there - so consider this just a heads up.

Bob - Thx for the heads-up on this. The sandbox site is being used for a special project now and isn't needed since we are running 1.7 on the demo site. AND, someone was playing around with permissions on the demo site for some reason ?? - which is why you weren't able to get to the CiviEvent functions. I've corrected this now.
