Hi,

On http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/ I can edit a participant event registration and change the event from a drop down list (see attached screenshot) to any of the other events - very handy as we quite often need to change our participants to a different event.

When I first upgraded our development environment to 3.1.3, I was aslo able to edit a participants registration and change them to another event and was pretty stoked about it

We still havent gone live with 3.1.3 yet, just a few more items to get in order, but for some reason now when I go to test that functionality the Event is no longer selectable as a drop down - it is fixed text displayed in the page.

Is there certain conditions under which a participants event registrations can be changed to a different event?

Had another look and it looks to be that when a registration is Pay Later then the Event can be edited / changed for a different Event - not when it is a Credit Card transaction though. I guess the payment trail could get messy?
