Track Click-Throughs issue
March 31, 2010, 03:59:58 am
We're having a problem in that if we activate "Track Click Throughs" for our mailouts, recipients of mails who use Hotmail, Yahoo and some versions of Outlook can't use the links within the mail correctly.

Every link in the mail whether internally to our Drupal/CiviCRM site or external links refers back to the home page of our website. If we turn "Track Link Throughs" off all the links in the html email work properly.

Examination of non-working and working links though show them to be the same + we don't see the same behaviour in other mail clients - Gmail and Outlook in Crossover on Ubuntu being the working ones we've tested.

Has anyone seen this behaviour before or know what might be causing it.

We're using Civi2.2.7

Does the behaviour depend on whether they’re logged in to your Drupal install?

Can you compare whether the links are indeed the same (ideally, copy a link from a working client and a link from a non-working one and compare)?

Can you double-check that the links work when one is logged out of your Drupal install (i.e., an anonymous Drupal user of your website)?
