Having trouble installing on Joomla 1.5
March 31, 2010, 04:47:50 pm
Tried the few methods but seems to have trouble logging in. Only got the error after the file transferred up to the server. It created the link in Joomla but nothing installed. I looked on the server and saw the files expanded to the directory.

Not sure what info you need to figure this out. Just ask me so I can tell you.

did you follow the joomla installation guide?
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Joomla+Installation+Guide

it sounds like you tried the browse and install option. you need to upload the package, unpack it, and use the install from directory option.
