Could not find valid value for eid: "&" instead of "&"
April 01, 2010, 09:57:15 am
Has anyone seen a case whereby a PCP page image reference URL is rendered with "&" instead of "&" with a resulting error: "Could not find valid value for eid"?  We've seen multiple, intermittent, incidents where this has occurred.

Environment:
   Drupal 6.16
   CiviCRM 3.13
   UID=0 does exist in the Drupal USERS table
   Anonymous user does have "access uploaded files" permission.

Solutions or suggestions for troubleshooting are welcome.  Example details & backtrace are shown below.  Sensitive data has been replaced with "*"'s.

I'm having the same problem in manage groups (members and settings url query strings) as well as contact searches. Was there a solution for this? I've tried upgrading and downgrading Civi to several versions and still no luck. Here is an example bad string:

<code>
/civicrm/group/search?reset=1&amp;force=1&amp;context=smog&amp;gid=45
</code>

Changing the url in the civicrm.settings.php file to match my address exactly fixed the problem. IE. define( 'CIVICRM_UF_BASEURL'      , 'http://www.mysite.org' ); should have been define( 'CIVICRM_UF_BASEURL'      , 'http://mysite.org' );

I am a new user to Drupal and civiCRM, but I am also having this same issue.  Mine happens to be on the event calendar with this url.  I am showing civievents in Drupal using the calendar and fullcalendar modules

I tried posting my information but it has link information to show what my Url is.  But I'm getting a posting error stating "Sorry, you are not allowed to post external links. "  So I had to remove that data.

I should have at least stated I tried modifying the civicrm.settings.php file with the domain as shown below but either with or without the WWW it stil fails.  After modifing the settings file I purged the templates_c directory under /files  ...  This is information I found on another post.

are all your urls internal to civicrm working fine?

if so, might be an integration issue between civi and the calendar modules. Which one are u using?

My civiCRM urls are working, if you mean the ones like Search, Contacts, Contributions, Events, Memberships, Administer, etc.   I am using Calendar version 7.x-3.4

seems like this is an integration issue with urls. can u follow up with the author of the calendar module. R u using the ical feed to display events in the calendar?

if there are changes civi needs to make to fix this, let us know

thanx

The link on my drupal website is using a View called CiviCRM Events with a description of "Calendar of CiviCRM Events".   with the Jquery Plugin FullCalendar.  I was a bit confused but I don't think this is "Calendar"
