"Access Denied" trying to access deduplication features
April 01, 2010, 10:57:27 am
Hi, trying to help troubleshoot a Civi problem for a friend's org.  They are running Civi 3.1.3 on Drupal 6, logged in as uid1.  Whenever I try to "Use Rule" (for ANY dedupe rule), I get "Access Denied."  AFAICT, they are not doing anything authentication- or authorization-related out of the box, no custom ACLs, etc.  Didn't see anything about this on the forums or on Google - has anyone experienced this?

Thanks!
Jim

Thanks for the tip, Lobo!  I later found that some of the built-in links (like the breadcrumb link to the import page, for instance) were being generated using a URL I had not seen before.  It also looks like the folks who set this up may have been doing some sort of custom-hacked multi-site thing - that should be fun to figure out.  :)

Anyway, your suggestion that it was a URL problem pointed me down the right track - thanks again!
