CiviContribute "date of birth" field not working correctly.

Hi Guys,

I'm having some trouble with a "date of birth" field in CiviCRM... I have a CiviContribute page and when users (not authenticated) try to edit the date of birth field, or load the calendar option, they are unable to do so.

I'm not quite sure why this is occurring- the permissions appear to be correct. Could this be an SSL issue (I have force SSL on, and my web server is configured correctly. This has only been an issue since upgrading to CiviCRM 3.1.3.

Kurund- The demo site is not using SSL on the contribute page... as it loads via http

It does work on the CiviCRM site... When using firebug I found the following errors- I'm not quite sure how to correct them:

Error: clearDateTime is not defined
Source File: javascript:clearDateTime(%20'birth_date'%20);

Also there appears to be a strange Host URL... Not sure what to make of it.

Hi Ben, I followed the link from your last post and noticed that the birth date field is now working.

What did you end up doing to resolve the problem you were having? I am currently having the exact same issue.

Has anyone found a solution for this, I am having the same problem, and I have isolated it to older versions of IE. Sadly most users of this particular site are government workers in the DC area, and their IT departments are notoriously restrictive on upgrades and changes in software.
