Manage Groups: remove members
April 04, 2010, 12:08:59 pm
Hi there,

For quite a while now I have been trying to look at the actual settings of various groups. However, each time I click on it, it says "access denied" even though I am the administrator.
The problem why I actually wanna access the settings, is because I try to remove some members from one group to add them to another. In the first place this seems to work out, but if I then check the membership under the specific group the respective members are still listed under the group even it says "removed".

Can anybody help me? The "group" function of CivicRM is the essential part for my organisation, and it is urgently needed.
Thanks a lot in advance! :)

Hello sarahmarie,

I have run into this problem myself once or twice. I solved it by selecting the group tab on the contact's summary page, and removing them there.

I hope this helps!

Cheers,
Jason

Check if your URL changes to add or lose the "www" in front of your domain name. If it changes, then you won't be logged in.
