Any luck getting this going?

Did you get into the file system and confirm the file was present?
(administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/CRM/Core/Config.php)?

If it's not there (and the CRM directory is not full of folders/files), it would suggest that maybe your folder permissioning is preventing Civi files from being copied during installation.

in components/com_civicrm/civicrm.php, line 19 is the first hit on a require_once statement -- so it sounds like files are getting copied to the right place

in Joomla you can always go to Help > System Info > Directory Permissions and confirm that your directories have sufficient permissions for proper operation (and installation of extensions)
