Profiles not in selection list

In the event registration configuration page, some profiles do not show. The one I want is set as type Individual, Contribution.
Many thanks....   ???

Only profiles of type Contact, Individual, and Participant can be used in online event registration pages. The profile 'type' is determined by the fields included in the profile. Your profile include fields which 'belong' to contribution records - and hence has type = Contribution. You'll need to remove those.

Dave's list is correct.  Also add Organization-type to the kinds of fields that do not work in Profiles used in event registration pages.
