Hi - the outcome we are seeking to achieve is as follows

Set up a Report re eg Donations to be sent out Monthly to the relevant 'treasurer' in each 'branch'

The Treasurers all have ACL controls on them so that they would only see 'their' members donations if they visited the Report.

Are we going to be able to somehow construct this so that when the Report gets sent out, it only includes the contacts in the report that pertain to the branch for that Treasurer

ie each Treasurer gets their version of the report through the same cron job?

thanks for any input before we put this in the too hard basket

If each branch is a group and if you could append group_id in url (as a filter), that should work.

A small script can be written to compute the group_id for a branch manager, which could be used in cron.

Thanks - and if each branch is an option in a custom field? is that going to make things harder?

We could make Smart Groups from of all them - and may need to for CiviMail anyhow - but just trying to checkout the options

Yeah, in that case smart group should work fine. Can't think of any other option.
