Need to edit registration message

I'd like to change the Registration Closed message "Registration for this event ended on..." Where is that located???

You'll find that at: CiviCRM › Administer CiviCRM › Message Templates then on the "System Workflow Messages" tab.

I don't have a "system workflow messages" tab. Is that a Civi 3.x thing? I am in 2.2

yes this is a 3.x thing. you should consider upgrading

in 2.2.x this message might be in the templates. i dont have a 2.2 copy to check this
