The headline more or less explains my problem. I am setting up a new website (it is still in the very early phase - just started) and I wanted an event handler to receive applications for our yearly conference. Luckily I stumbled over CiviCRM which does exactly that. However, while I managed to setup a test event and integrate it into joomla, the confirmation screen is not loading when I try to submit an application.

While the application does go through and I can see it in the event manager, I do not get a confirmation screen after fulfilling the application process. I just end up at a blank loading screen. I suspect this might have something to do with my host who does not allow for switching safe mode off?

If this is the problem - could anyone tell me exactly what files that are involved and causes the problem, as I might be able to pursuade my provider to help out with a solution. Personally I am no IT wizard so I can only do so much

I guess its time to find a new provider with the option to run without safe mode on then. Cheers.
