I'm getting an "access denied" permission problem when trying to edit fields or settings for profiles that come with CiviCRM (New Individual, Name and Address, etc). I am, however, able to disable profiles or even create new ones. When I create a new profile I can also add fields, no problem.

I get this both when I'm logged in as "user 1" (no specific permissions set) and when I'm logged in as a user role with permissions set for ALL CiviCRM stuff.

Are the profiles that come with CiviCRM somehow protected from being edited or altered?

EDIT: Correction -- when I try to edit a field I've created in a profile I've created, I get "access denied"! What the heck? So the system lets me create profiles and fields but not edit them. Help!
